ODT Rentals 365 app now available outside of North America
We are excited to announce the release of ODT Rentals 365 RoW (Rest of World), which is designed for use outside the United States and Canada. The differences in tax table structure led to the creation of a separate version of our Rental app for the rest of the world, but with identical rental functionality.
Interested parties will now find two ODT Rental 365 apps on Microsoft AppSource. Anyone from outside North America should check the RoW app to see if your specific country is supported. If not, please contact us for a release schedule of future countries. The first country to be supported is Australia, with the United Kingdom and United Arab Emirates (UAE) soon to follow.
Manage equipment rental & integrate with our Service app
ODT Rentals 365 was developed to manage equipment rental for the Microsoft Dynamics 365 Business Central accounting/ERP platform, giving users full access to the most popular mid-market ERP system in the world. Either of the two rental apps can be integrated with the ODT Service 365 app just released on Microsoft AppSource.
The ODT Rentals 365 RoW app manages equipment reservations and availability for specific units and accessories while also allowing for recurring miscellaneous service charges, such as for operators or maintenance agreements.
Planned maintenance capability is being brought over to the ODT Service 365 app in stages from our Microsoft Dynamics NAV Preventative Maintenance module with the first now available on AppSource. Companies will be able to manage and invoice recurring rental contracts, swap equipment, set up equipment packages, define company-specific rental periods and terms, and review equipment utilization and other metrics.
Companies can start with either a rental quote or a rental contract, each of which can include rental and sales transactions. An equipment availability matrix allows users to quickly determine whether rental equipment is available for any future period. Specific units can be reserved or reservations can be made through equipment groups, similar to how rental cars can be reserved without a specific unit being reserved until the time of fulfillment.
Future releases coming to more countries
The Rental app can be downloaded and applied to trial, demo, or live Business Central online systems. The app will be made available for on-premise installations in the third quarter of 2019.
