Product Engineering Manager

The Product Engineering Manager will be responsible for overseeing the lifecycle management of development, enhancement, testing & release of products within the company. This role requires a dynamic individual who can lead a team of developers & testers, coordinate with various departments, and ensure that all product development aligns with the company’s strategic goals and meet customer expectations.

Responsibilities

Build Product that makes an impact in the industries we serve:

• Lead and manage the product development team to ensure timely and high-quality product releases: 2 major releases per year, +ad hoc releases as needed.
• Prioritize the Product Backlog in partnership with the Product Manager and Executive Team to build the products & features that will have the greatest impact for our clients.
• Monitor and report on progress, identifying and addressing potential issues and risks.
• Ensure that all products meet quality standards and comply with Microsoft Dynamics 365 AppSource requirements.
• Coordinate user testing and development code reviews for all product development

Lead a team of talented go-getters, building their skills and investing in their development:

• Develop and execute product development plans, including setting milestones, budgets, and timelines.
• Provide mentorship and professional development opportunities for team members.
• Foster a culture of innovation and continuous improvement.
• Help us add the right additional talent to the team, and motivate them to crush the product backlog

Work across the organization, collaboratively:

• Collaborate with product managers, designers, and other stakeholders to define product requirements and specifications.
• Facilitate communication and collaboration within the team and across departments.
• Review support tickets and solicit implementer feedback on product features vs. Client use cases.

Ensure we keep getting better:

• Continuously assess and improve development processes and methodologies.
• Manage resource allocation and optimize team performance.
• Stay abreast of the latest industry trends and technologies to incorporate into product development, including integrations with Azure, CoPilot, and other Microsoft platform releases
• Engage with Clients, Market experts & Leadership to gather feedback to inform future product iterations.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in computer science, Engineering, or a related field.
• 10+ Experience in Microsoft Dynamics NAV and Business Central
• A minimum of 5 years of experience in product development or a related field.
• Proven experience managing and leading development teams.
• Strong understanding of product development life cycle and methodologies.
• Excellent project management and organizational skills.
• Ability to communicate effectively with technical and non-technical stakeholders.
• Experience with agile development practices is preferred.
• Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
• Ability to work in a fast-paced, dynamic environment.
